Why did I choose this particular physical activity among hundreds of options?
…2015, I’m 40 years old, I just gave birth to my second child, my youngest son Lev.
A difficult, rapid birth, which entailed problems with women's health. In addition: I really don't like myself, excess weight, which despite regular wild sports does not go away! I do not feel contact with my body - everything is not mine, the body does not obey the brain!
A complete lack of self-realization - I am tied to the baby with a short leash around the clock.
Total stress and tension!
By a lucky chance, due to being late for my training, I end up at a 90-minute Ashtanga yoga practice.
My Teacher, despite the fact that I am a beginner, led me through a breathing practice, a sequence of strength and flexibility exercises, wisely directed my attention to my BEAUTIFUL (and in my understanding, fat) a body that gave birth at 40 a wonderful child and now I feel like I'm taking revenge on him for those unfortunate 5-6 extra kilos, the swollen belly and hunched shoulders.
- Does it deserve this?
- No!
- It deserves only love, care and gratitude!
- Every day!
Already practicing Shavasana - a pose of relaxation and restoration, I was a different Yana!
9 years later, I remember that state of total loving kindness to myself, with excess weight, rashes and hunched shoulders, and to the whole world with all its shortcomings!
After 3-4 months of yoga classes, I already experienced a wild wave of inspiration, potential began to bubble inside me, which I urgently want to apply somewhere, I finally recognize myself!
By 8 years of regular practice, training at the 8-month Organic People yoga teacher in 2024 and a yoga instructor diploma.
I won’t hide the fact that I periodically switched to other physical activities - running, skating, tennis, fitness... but I always returned to yoga, because it’s not only about sports, it’s also about training patience and intelligence through love and care for yourself.

- These are the words of B. Iyengar that I try to sew into all the training that I conduct for my students and for myself personally. And here neither gender, nor weight, nor age are important!
All the practices that I give to my students are a concentrate of efficiency, benefit and beauty, which I personally tested it on myself and am happy to share it with everyone who wants it!
